Butterflies against a patterned background, a grey and gold card

I love the amount of paper pads out there and enjoy crafting a new card using very different papers. This one is not too feminine and it realy didnt need much adding to the image. I cut out some of the bubbles with scissors and added a bit of texture to the card. I then decided to have a cascading line of butterflies but the ink felt too muted against the paper so I stamped again onto offcuts of the paper and fussy cut the three butterflies layering them ontop of he flat stamped images.

I love giving shape to the wings and only putting the glue down the body of each butterfly.

Perhaps my silver or black ink would have shown up better but i do like the finished card.
